- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- Β½ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup canned tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or chili powder
- Β½ teaspoon salt
- ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
- Β½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- Optional: cooked rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes for serving

1. Brown the Ground Beef
