1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup water or tomato sauce (optional, to moisten)
For serving:
4–6 small tortillas (flour or corn)
Optional toppings:
Shredded lettuce or cabbage
Diced tomatoes
Grated cheese
Sour cream or Greek yogurt
Guacamole or sliced avocado
Salsa or hot sauce
Chopped cilantro
🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.

Add your choice of protein (ground beef, chicken, or beans).
Stir in cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring often. Add a splash of water or tomato sauce if needed to keep it from drying out.
  2. Warm the Tortillas
Wrap the tortillas in foil and warm them in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5–10 minutes, or heat each one individually in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds per side.
  3. Assemble the Tacos
Place a spoonful of the meat or bean mixture into each tortilla.
Top with your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
  4. Serve & Enjoy!
Serve warm and enjoy your homemade quick tacos!
